Boris Effectsェ 2.0 requires Adobe Premiereェ 4.0 or later; a Power Macintosh.
Installing the Plug-in
To install the Boris Effects plug-in, simply copy the plug-in to your plug-ins folder for the host application.
Media 100
For Media 100 install in Media100 Folder:Transitions:DVE
To access the plug-in in the M100 click on the DVE icon in the Transition Mode of Edit Suite and choose Boris Effects from the pop-up menu.
Once the plug-in is selected, click on the Custom Settings button. To see this button you may have to expand the Edit Suite by pressing the round expansion button. This will post Boris Effects main window.
To render your transition press OK in the main window to come back to the Edit Suite and press Render button.
Adobe Premiere
For Adobe Premiere the plug-ins folder is usually Adobe Premiereェ Plug-ins folder unless you selected another plug-ins folder under Preferences menu.
With Adobe Premiereェ, Boris Effectsェ 2.0 will appear as a transition within the Transitions Window. This transition is applied to projects in the Construction Window just as any other transition is
When youユd like to apply a Boris Effect, simply drag the transition onto the Transitions track in the Construction Window between the two clips you would like the effect to occur in. Trim the transition if needed, and then double-click it. The Transitions Setings window will appear. Click Custom Settings. The Boris Effects Main Panel will appear.
